PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Join us after our summer hiatus (and fantastic Fall Conference) for an evening of networking and learning when we welcome first, Howard Brickman, a consultant for the Journal of Light Construction, to draw on his extensive background in the hardwood lumber and wood flooring businesses.  He will talk about wood frame buildings and moisture with an emphasis on measuring moisture content in building materials and how to properly describe the condition of a wood floor at the time of a home inspection. He will address the use of moisture meters and hygrometers and define a variety of wood floor deficiencies.  Next, Mike Atwell of J. May Home Inspection will offer a review of the proposed amendments to 266 CMR 2.0.
