PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: "Learn about the Mass Save program. 266CMR Section 6.08 requires a Home Inspector to either distribute the Mass Save brochure or embed that information into their report".Attend our half-hour “Meet the Pros” Panel from 4:30-5:00 p.m. After a one-hour round-table discussion, we welcome Brenda Pike, Analyst of National Grid and Brian K. Robbins, Jr., Home Energy Specialist Regional Manager for Homeworks, Inc. for a comprehensive two-part program on home energy efficiency programs and resources designed to help homeowners increase their energy efficiency and save money. Pike will discuss the Mass Save Umbrella brand and how National Grid can help consumers, including how energy audits and retrofits can be funded. She will offer material for inspectors to share with consumers. Robbins will discuss energy saving efforts for homeowners and how to work with your local energy provider to make needed improvements in insulation (including spray foam), weatherproofing and the use of other energy- and cost-saving technology.
