After a one-hour roundtable discussion, join us as we welcome a special guest, Kimberly Allard-Moccia, 2013 President of the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® and broker-owner of Century 21 Professionals in Braintree. Kimberly will discuss the current real estate market and highlight trends she is seeing. She will also describe a "day in the life of a REALTOR®" and how the REALTOR®-home inspector dynamic fits in. A REALTOR® since 1999, Kimberly has served the Association in numerous leadership roles including president-elect, Southern Region Vice President, three-term Chair of the REALTORS® Political Action Committee Trustees and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2005. In 2010, Allard-Moccia was selected as the MAR REALTOR® of the Year. At the national level, Kimberly is the 2013 Vice-Chair of the Member Communications Committee and has been a member of the National Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors since 2009. Kimberly has earned the e-PRO and Loss Mitigation (LMC) Certifications and the Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI), GREEN, and Certified Buyers Representative (CBR) professional designations. Next, Peter Gormley, Owner & President and David Mossman, Division Manager of New England Waterproofing, Inc./Crack-X will offer a presentation on inspecting and reporting on foundation cracks, an assessment of likely cause and the potential for related problems (including moisture intrusion), and offer a discussion on repair and remediation options.
